Shopify product launch for physical products

Your product is made, or about to be. We set up the store side so launch day takes orders, ships them at the right rate and charges the right tax. One fixed price, with two weeks of support after launch.

Sound familiar?

  • "The boxes arrive in three weeks and the store still says coming soon."
  • "I watched four videos on shipping profiles and I'm more confused than before."
  • "Do I charge sales tax outside my state? I honestly don't know."
  • "We have a list of people who want this. How do I tell them it's live?"

The problem

Shopify's own launch checklist is long and written for everyone. Physical products tend to trip on the small things: product weights left blank so shipping quotes are wrong, variants that don't match the stock you actually have, a tax setting nobody checked, and no way to catch the people who show up before the product does.

We handle those parts end to end, then place test orders until the whole path from checkout to the shipping email works. You get a store that's ready the day your inventory lands.

What's included

Product pages

Copy laid out for scanning, photos, variants and options, and bundles if you sell sets or refills.

Inventory and SKUs

SKUs and stock counts that match what's in your warehouse, 3PL or garage.

Shipping

Weights, box sizes, rates and zones, plus local pickup or free-shipping thresholds if you want them.

Payments and sales tax

Payment settings and sales-tax collection set up for where you're registered. Your accountant confirms where you must collect.

Pre-launch waitlist

A coming-soon page that collects emails before stock arrives, and the launch email to that list.

Order flow

Order confirmation and shipping emails, fulfillment through your 3PL or a packing routine for doing it yourself, and bulk orders for schools or retailers if you sell B2B.

How it runs

Set in the scope, timed to your inventory

  1. Step 1

    15-minute call and scope

What you sell, where stock ships from, your launch date. You get a one-page scope with a fixed price.

  2. Step 2

    Waitlist goes up first

A coming-soon page starts collecting emails while we build the rest of the store.

  3. Step 3

    Store build

Product pages, inventory, shipping, tax and the order emails, set up in your Shopify account.

  4. Step 4

    Test orders

Real checkouts with test payments to every shipping zone, then refunds, so nothing surprises you on day one.

  5. Step 5

Launch and two weeks of support

We email the waitlist, watch the first orders and fix anything that comes up for two weeks.

Price

$2,400

one-time, fixed

  • Includes two weeks of support after launch.
  • 50% to kick off, 50% on delivery.

Proof

We run a Shopify store for a kids wellness brand

We run Yogapalooza's Shopify store day to day: orders, refunds, customer messages and product listings.

That includes B2B fulfillment of a $94 to $99 kit for a childcare chain's locations and the quarterly sales-tax numbers their accountants file from. The launch package is that same work, done once, up front.

Questions

How long does a Shopify product launch take?
It depends on how many products and variants you have and when stock arrives. We set the date in the one-page scope and work back from your launch day. The waitlist page usually goes live first so you're collecting emails while the rest is built.
Do you build a new store or work in my existing one?
Either. If you already have a Shopify store, we add the new product and fix what's in the way of launching it. If you're starting fresh, we set up the store in an account you own.
Can I take pre-orders or build a waitlist before inventory arrives?
Yes. A pre-launch waitlist is part of the package, and we email that list on launch day. If you want to take paid pre-orders instead, we'll set that up and make the ship date clear on the product page.
Do you set up sales tax?
We set up tax collection in Shopify for the states where you're registered and show you the reports you'll need at filing time. Where you have to register is a question for your accountant, and we work from their answer.
What's not included in the $2,400?
Your Shopify subscription, paid apps, product photography and ad spend. We'll tell you on the call if your launch needs any of these and what they usually cost.
What happens after the two weeks of support?
You run the store, or we do. Our ops retainer at $1,800 a month covers orders, refunds, customer messages and listings, and automates one of those jobs every month.
